Mouth Wash

1. Measure the Correct Amount:

Pour around 20-30 milliliters (about 4-6 teaspoons) of mouthwash into a measuring cup or the cap of the mouthwash bottle. Don't use more than the recommended amount, as it can be harmful.

2. Swish and Gargle:

Take the measured mouthwash into your mouth, but do not swallow it. Swish the liquid around your mouth for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Gargle if the mouthwash instructions recommend it, but do so gently without swallowing.

3. Spit Out the Mouthwash:

Spit the mouthwash into the sink. Do not swallow it. Many mouthwashes contain alcohol, which can be harmful if ingested in large quantities.

4. Avoid Eating or Drinking Immediately:

Refrain from eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after using mouthwash. This allows the active ingredients to work effectively.

5. Use at the Right Time:

Mouthwash can be used after brushing and flossing your teeth. Some people prefer to use it in the morning, while others use it before bedtime. Choose a time that fits your routine.

6. Do Not Rinse with Water Immediately:

After using mouthwash, do not rinse your mouth with water immediately. Let the mouthwash continue to work on your teeth and gums.
